Electronics & Engineering Hosts Global Debut Of LinQ Labs HD & DVI Products

27 July 2010

Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd (E&E) made a huge presence and a little bit of history when it hosted the global debut of LinQ Labs newest additions to its HD and DVI product family at the SLV Expo 2010, held from 16 - 18 June at Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.

Headquartered in Singapore, E&E, with its strong network of sales and service offices around the region, was appointed in early 2010 by LinQ Labs as their official distribution partner to service the various SI and install markets in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India

“LinQ Labs is a new company; they came to introduce their products to us and wanted to know of their potential in our markets, and whether we are interested to work together. I looked at the H-DLight P1000 and DVA-100-TR and I said ‘wow’ these are fantastic. And now we have the opportunity to launch these two products into the region - actually the world! I guess that’s why they are probably voted the best products at the (SLV) show,” quotes E&E Managing Director Ronald Goh.

Targeting mainstream HD application for use in Home Theatre, remote Displays, Digital Signage and Projectors, the H-DLight P1000 boasts up to 1 km of lossless, uncompressed video (no image processing or compression) on a Single Mode Fiber (simplex), with HDMI quality of 1080p/60Hz/24bpp, up to 8 channels (96 kHz) of audio, reduced EMI, and HDCP Content Protection.

Designed for the mass Digital Signage market with its low cost, and small form factor, the DVA-100-TR is a DVI+Audio Transmitter/Receiver which boasts up to 1 km of lossless, uncompressed video (no image processing or compression) on a Single Mode Fiber (simplex) with reduced EMI, and DVI video quality of 1080p/60Hz/24bpp, with to 2 channels (analogue sampled at 48 kHz) of audio.

For E&E, this is just the beginning, as LinQ Labs is planning to release more products in the coming year – including an innovative “Digital Microphone Snake”.

Ronald also mentions that following the launch of these products, E&E will also conduct service training for engineers on the operations, troubleshooting, and updating of firmware for all LinQ Labs products.
