Innovative UK lighting manufacturer, GDS, has announced the launch of the upgraded, uprated successor to its phenomenally successful ArcSystem range of products. ArcSystem V1.5 takes an award-winning range, recognised as a leader in quality and sustainability and improves it.
Matt Lloyd, Managing Director of GDS identified some key areas: “Our approach at GDS is dedicated to constant innovation – it’s the only way to keep up with the fast pace of technological advances. If ArcSystem already constituted the cutting edge, the development of V1.5 challenged us to push harder at the boundaries and sharpen things even further. Our very latest dimming technology has made things smoother – a case of making the best available better. We’ve introduced Lumileds LEDs across all colour temperatures in the range and obtained significantly higher lumens per watt by doing so.
Matt concludued: “Several new features have been added to the transmitter and all reflectors across the range have been redesigned to increase efficiency and reduce glare. Our flagship ArcLamp product has been developed to be better and brighter in every form, with a CRI of 90+ and now includes the option to fade to warm when dimming down, improving what was already an unrivalled package.”
