disguise announces its expansion with new appointments to its senior team, to further strengthen disguise’s position and support network worldwide.
Bill Collis was appointed as Chairman of the Board in early 2018, bringing significant senior leadership experience within the film and video industry to his new position, with over a decade as the CEO and then President of the Foundry. Bill built the Foundry organically transforming it from a London based niche visual effects software company into a high growth global force in development and distribution of media post production tools and product design technology.
To support its CEO, Fernando Kufer, disguise has hired an executive team formed by: Paul Hunt as its new Chief Finance Officer. Paul has wide international experience as a finance leader, with a strong commercial reputation for driving growth and change. Paul brings a wealth of specialist knowledge from his role at Euromoney Institutional Investor, where he spent over 15 years as a key member of the Senior Management Team, leading the group strategy and the digital transformation of the business, and managing the acquisition of more than 20 businesses.

To further strengthen the team, disguise has appointed Tom Rockhill as Chief Sales Officer. Tom brings extensive experience from various roles including VP Sales EMEA at Foundry and Chief Commercial Officer at YellowDog. Tom has a breadth of international experience in media and entertainment technology, having managed sales in US and Canada, Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Japan, India, Australasia, and the Middle East. This role involves continuing to push disguise into new verticals and markets worldwide while helping to shape the product pipeline and direction of sales growth.
Lorna Bains joined disguise as Chief People Officer. Lorna has experience in HR, business transformation, and leadership roles, in corporate organisations and consultancy alike. She has grown organisations, leaders, and teams in a variety of sectors and her experience spans from UK, EMEA and global roles at The Walt Disney Company, Belron and Accenture. Lorna has built her expertise in consultancy, including Interim HRD, leadership development, team development, OD, talent, transformation. Alongside her role at disguise, Lorna continues her work with Vilo Consulting to help companies achieve sustainable and significant improvements to performance and engagement, through designing and delivering change and development programmes at the organisation, leader, and team levels.
Ed Plowman will be joining in March 2019 as Chief Technology Officer. He brings a wealth of experience from previous companies, including ARM, a multinational fabless semiconductor company that develops world leading CPU, GPU and SoC infrastructure intellectual property for Mobile, AI, IoT and cloud computing. At ARM, he held various roles during his 18 years of employment including, Director of Computer Vision Systems, Director of Performance Analysis Strategy, and Director of System Solutions Architecture. He looks forward to bringing his vast knowledge of hardware and software technology to disguise.
With more than 18 years of experience, Roberto Scandian joins the team as the new Global Head of Operations. He started his career as System Engineer at Motorola and worked in positions from Project Management to COO at global organisations and start-up companies such as TomTom, Intelligent Energy and Fuel3D. Most recently, Roberto worked for a virtual supply chain provider called Ophir Solutions LLD, providing services to Carnival Corporation.
To support the executive team and continue business growth, disguise is happy to announce further key team appointments, including Charlotte Dawson, who has joined disguise as Head of Sales Operations. Charlotte has extensive marketing and sales operations experience with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. She brings a wealth of specialist knowledge from her roles at Avid Technology and the Foundry where she worked in a host of roles including Channel Marketing Manager, Head of Channel and Sales Operations and Head of Sales Enablement.
Ethan Forde also joins the disguise team as Global Head of Support. Ethan brings extensive experience from his work as a freelance production video engineer on a number of global projects including: Starlight Express in Bochum, Olivier Awards – Royal Albert Hall, Brian May & Kerry Ellis’ European tour, Bodyguard the musical in Cologne, Stuttgart, Paris and Vienna, plus a number of Secret Cinemas projects such as The Empire Strikes Back, Dr Strangelove, 28 Days Later and Bladerunner.
Joining as Global Head of Marketing is Sagar Shah. Sagar joins disguise from a consultancy background, where he marketed to the world’s largest brands and advertisers. With international experience and a strategic and commercial focus; he is well versed in implementing, building and utilising MarTech to enable overall business growth. His role will involve developing integrated and multi-channel marketing campaigns to aid insight, lead generation and commercial results.
