Prolights fixtures feature heavily in newly opened restaurant Wavehouse, housed in the Atlantis The Palm, Dubai.
Since opening in early 2019 the new Wavehouse entertainment venue has been acknowledged as one of Dubai’s premiere entertainment destinations and a jewel in the crown for the landmark Atlantis The Plan Hotel. Wavehouse delivers entertainment for all the family over 3 floors including a multi-level soft-play area, two floors of arcade gaming with a dedicated Fortnite suite, multifunction room and VR experiences, a four-lane bowling alley, indoor restaurant & bar with Rotisserie and open pizza kitchen and a large terrace area with live stage, bars, casual seating and a view out over the Aquaventure Waterpark.
Over 800 Prolights fixtures are used throughout the venue. The range of IP-rated and track-mount fixtures varied depending on requirements from their location but also the design and aesthetic of the location.
Wavehouse is Lighting and Visual Designer Ben M Rogers fifth major project for lead consultants Solutions Leisure. He commented: “We have had a great track record with the Prolights range in our venues. The product has delivered high output, stable and sustainable solutions and the team in Italy have also been able to conjure up some custom variations for us including track mounted UV cobs with wireless DMX and custom finishes to tie the products into the interior design requirements.”
