Apex Strengthens US Presence with Appointment of Ineke Priepot

Belgian pro audio manufacturer, Apex Audio, has reinforced its US operations with the appointment of an experienced industry professional, Ineke Priepot. Based in Nashville, TN, Ineke’s role is sales and business development with the aim of setting up and running a dealer/rep network across the US.

Ineke will be handling the full range of Apex DSP audio products including the renowned Intelli-Series system processors, with particular emphasis on the newly launched Class D SMA-1 amplifier module which offers an easily customisable turnkey solution for all 2-way active loudspeakers. She’ll also be responsible for the award-winning Liviau control platform for audio, video and lighting which has found a surprising niche in the funeral home market, enabling funeral directors to offer create and manage fully personalized services, integrating custom content with lighting and room control.

“Ineke is a highly experienced sales professional who knows this business inside out,” said Apex managing director, Paul Van Hees. “She is also a respected sound engineer with a strong technical background and has a solid network of contacts in the US, so we’re confident that she’ll be able to help us establish the Apex brand in the US.”

Ineke is looking forward to her new role. “I know Apex well having worked with their products in live sound engineering as well as in my role in technical sales at Apex when I first got off the road around 2004,” she explained. “Since then they have built up an excellent portfolio of both well-established and new products. Besides the Intelli Series processors and amplifiers, the new SMA-1 module is particularly interesting as it embodies everything that Apex does well – high quality electronics and innovative yet reliable custom solutions. The elegant and innovative Liviau control platform, which we’ll be showcasing at the NFDA International Convention and Expo in Chicago in October, is also a fantastic product with a wide range of applications. I’m very excited about this collaboration and am looking forward to putting Apex on the map in the US.”
