Opened in July 2024, Aquascope is a 6,000 sq m indoor water park. As part of its new offering, Les Abysses de Lumière is an experiential space where projection mapping, lighting effects, choreographed water effects and spectacular backdrops work together to transport visitors to a stunning new world.
Located within Futuroscope, a specialist theme park on the outskirts of Poitiers in the heart of France, Aquascope is a part of an ongoing expansion of Futuroscope Xperiences, and stays true to the park’s DNA with its focus on using digital technologies to enhance the guest experience.
The park’s in-house technical company, Futuroscope Maintenance & Development (FMD) called upon international multimedia studio Moment Factory to assist in the creation of the park’s immersive space, Les Abysses de Lumière, which is one of three experiential areas within the water park.
