Live Event Community – an organisation formed to support Canadian live event workers who’ve lost their livelihoods due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic – has organised a day of visibility on Tuesday 22 September 2020.
Live Event Community calls upon event professionals, technicians, suppliers, and venues across Canada to light the night red one hour after sundown to raise awareness for an industry that is still dark.
Organisations, grassroots groups and individuals will come together to illuminate landmarks in red, bringing to light the many performers, creators, technical, logistical, and management support personnel who drive a $100bn Canadian economic engine.
Join in with some of Canada’s most iconic landmarks in lighting your venue, building, home, or even yourself in red and sharing photos and videos on social media.
