DiGiGrid, is seeing an upsurge in sales in South America, as the distribution network for its audio processing and networking solutions becomes more established.
DiGiGrid’s distributors in the region are Equaphon (Argentina), Avanzada (Bolivia), Grupo Studio (Brazil), RG Music (Chile), Codisco (Columbia) and Vari Internacional (Mexico).
Mexico in particular is seeing some varied sales, including a project for Heroica Escuela Naval Militar, a Mexican army school located in Veracruz. The goal was to link 120 microphones located in the main building with the control room 500m away, and enable them to record everything. Vari installed eleven IOX audio interfaces and a Server One system, all integrated in a special switcher.
In addition, Dano Martínez, the FOH engineer of the multi-award-winning Mexican singer, Natalia Lafourcade, invested in DiGiGrid IOX interfaces and server in order to record the best possible sound for the singers’ live performances.
Rodrigo “Rudy” Rosales, the FOH engineer of the Mexican band Sin Bandera, has also invested in DiGiGrid solutions. He recently bought an MGB interface as a record system for all his shows, with plans to invest further in more DiGiGrid interfaces.
