Media Business Insight, the organisers of the annual Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS) have confirmed that the show will take place from 12-13 May 2021 at London’s Olympia exhibition centre.
Following its postponement due to the COVID lockdown, MPTS will once again showcase the industry’s latest technologies and services, as well as continue to run an exceptional content programme across the show floor. Safety of visitors and exhibitors will be of upmost priority for the MPTS organising team and a list of guidelines will be produced shortly. The UK is revered as a content producing and broadcasting giant and the MPTS central London location serves many of the industry regional hubs, as well as the workforce that are based in and around London.
Event Director, Charlotte Wheeler said: “Before the COVID pandemic forced the postponement of so many shows in the UK, MPTS 2020 was shaping up to be a busy and sold out event, brimming with the latest technologies and industry speakers across a huge content programme.
There is a strong will from the market for a successful UK show to take place in 2021, from production companies that require new equipment to be safety compliant to exhibitors that need to reconnect to their markets generating new leads and developing business. MPTS 2021 will deliver all of that and more with new initiatives and virtual elements being worked on to deliver a significant event next year. The team and I are looking forward to welcoming many of you back to Olympia next May.”
Media Business Insight also delivers exceptional content, data and insight through its other in-house brands including Broadcast, Screen International, Broadcast Sport, Broadcast Tech, KFTV and The Knowledge and the show team will be working with these to further explore virtual event options, sharing insights and reports to our communities. This will give the exhibitors and visitors a unique opportunity to be part of something bigger than the event itself across the year.
