MTN appoints Brian Tyson as their new Director of Special Projects. With over 40 years of sales and management experience in the event planning sector, Tyson is poised to play a pivotal role in the development and management of MTN’s ever-growing corporate client base and full event production market demands.
A veteran in the event planning industry, Tyson’s career includes prominent roles at organisations such as ChoiceLIVE, Tallen Technology Rentals, and Kohler Rental Power.
Throughout his time working as Sales Event Coordinator at Kohler Rental Power, Tyson’s expertise in producing and managing vital production elements was showcased in various high- profile projects including the WWII Monument Dedication and the 2004 Republican Convention at Madison Square Garden.
In his most recent role at ChoiceLIVE, Tyson excelled as the company’s National Sales Director, demonstrating exceptional skills in client and production management.
Throughout his 13-year tenure with ChoiceLIVE, Tyson was involved in numerous high-profile projects including the Google Booth at CES conference in Las Vegas, the Bassmaster’s Classic for 12 years running, Microsoft and Fox Upfront events with Empire Entertainment as well as university commencements for Princeton, Bucknell and Rutgers.
In the film industry, Tyson’s contributions as Sales Event Coordinator for Aggreko Event Services, have been indispensable, providing essential services for major productions like Titanic and Sixth Sense.
His ability to design, plan, and implement comprehensive solutions for event settings saw him earn the award for the highest number of movies contracted in Aggreko’s history.
