European manufacturer of loudspeakers and associated products, Outline have appointed Fernando Rey Mendez to the position of Newton Product Specialist.
Fernando’s professional experience includes sound system engineering and system commissioning, but for much of the last decade he has focused on audio DSP programming and design. The Newton processor launched in 2017, and is a not only for Outline clients but for anyone using or designing modern loudspeaker systems or managing complex multiple-clock designs.
Available in three hardware versions, Newton is a full-featured, FPGA-based Multi Media Nucleus which includes comprehensive loudspeaker system control facilities, media conversion, audio distribution with networking capability, freely-assignable analogue, AES, MADI optical, MADI coaxial and Dante inputs and outputs, simultaneous multiple-clock synchronisation and independent dual-redundant power inlets.
