YES TECH unveils the Ribbon installation

For LED display manufacturers, creating unique stage designs through their products has always been the pursuit. With major concerts by Taylor Swift, Adele, and others, as well as numerous top-tier music festivals taking place in 2024, stage design is more crucial than ever. For delivering wonderful visuals, YES TECH has unveiled its multi-arc layout stretching from the ground to mid-air, refreshing the conventional stage in people’s minds.

The most important part of the “ribbon” installation is achieving a fluent and elegant design while ensuring safety and reliability, and a more dynamic and engaging visual experience with no special glasses.

The installation at the ISE 2024 venue measured high and featured numerous arcs of varying sizes without large supports. This specialised and precise frame maintains the shape with high stability. Through precise calculation and strategic placement, this installation delivers uniform load-bearing capacity and distribution at each point when hanging, minimising gaps between cabinets for a natural transition.

Multi-arc technology connects all the curved sections, presenting a unified appearance that resembles a continuous whole. The fluid curvature and durability are achieved using its MG9 product, paired with connectors capable of ±15° arc splicing, ensuring alignment and robust construction.

To realise the installation, YES TECH utilise the upgraded version of its rental series, MG9 Series to bring performance revolution. Its TET tech comes first and delivers 80-100N LED thrust. The TET tech (thrust enhancement tech) is the development of a stronger bond of the LEDs to the circuit board, thus providing a better connection that is more resistant to physical damage.

Recognising that the damage during transportation or assembly is inevitable, YES TECH have improved the quality of the product. While the TET tech effectively reduces the lamp-fall rate, thereby decreasing maintenance costs with more stable performance.

The MG9 Series is fortified with protective corners on all four sides (for P2.9 displays) and adopts 1516 LEDs with larger margin but higher anti-collision ability. It also delivers up to 7680Hz refresh rate and 800-5500 nit brightness to adapt to different lighting conditions with clear visuals and vibrant colours.

Whether for indoor or outdoor events, the ribbon installation by MG9 Series can offer both.
